Some of us at Creative Machines have had a young friend or family member stay in the hospital for an extended period of time and have seen the difficulties they experience. This, plus our research into the role of creative play in healing, has prompted us to make hospital playrooms a major new focus for our company. We have created a brochure in which we discuss the research that links creative play and healing, explain how hospitals currently use creative play to help their patients, and describe how we can make these efforts more effective through new playroom designs.
